Scholarship and Tuition Discounts

Full-Time Undergraduate Students

Eagle Community Partner employees, their spouses and dependent children (as defined by the IRS) who are enrolled full time and are paying the full-time tuition rate are eligible to receive a $1,000 scholarship each academic year while pursuing an undergraduate degree. This scholarship stacks on top of most other financial aid for which the student may qualify.

Part-Time or Graduate Students

Eagle Community Partner employees, their spouses and dependent children (as defined by the IRS) who are not paying the full-time tuition rate are eligible for a 10% tuition discount. The discount is in the form of a scholarship to be applied to any undergraduate or graduate course.

New Students

Students receiving scholarships, grants or other benefits that cover 100% of tuition costs are not eligible for the Eagle Community Partners tuition discount, nor are students receiving an Ashland University athletic scholarship or tuition waiver/exchange benefit.

  1. Apply and be admitted to the university. Use our online application to get started! Once admitted, you’ll be prompted to complete the Eagle Community Partner Tuition Discount Verification Form.
  2. Apply for federal, state and institutional need-based financial aid by submitting a Free Application for Federal Student Aid at www.fafsa.gov. For more information, please visit financial aid.

Current Students

Please confirm your eligibility

  1. Complete the Eagle Community Partner Tuition Discount Verification Form each academic year. Submit a copy of the employee’s most current pay stub to confirm current eligibility.
  2. Provide your Human Resources professional’s contact information on the Verification Form and email the completed form to [email protected] by the tuition payment deadline.
  3. You will be notified via financial aid award letter from Ashland University once your Verification Form has been received.
  4. If your student account is not paid in full by the published payment deadline, you will be subject to a late fee.
